My Big Fat Lantana

Post  Greg on Fri May 25, 2012 6:48 pm

This is an urban yamadory, collected a few months ago from a friends yard.
This tree was chopped from the previous owner long before its collection.

There is plenty of new growth and from last week I have the pleasure to enjoy flowers as well!! FLowers are yellow to orange. I try to cut the flowers as a benefit to the tree recovery. Cool

nice trunk!!
i can't say that i like Lantanas, but it can become a nice powerful tree.
this type of tree is not easy to wire as the branches become very brittle, very fast....Clip'n grow
