In an effort to find new material,i decided to dig this little shrub off to see how it reacts in a pot.So far so good,it doesnt show any negative signs it works ok(it was picked up nearly 50 days ago)...Maybe its not something special but surely if you find the right stuff i am sure you can make something out of it.This little bush in Cyprus is a popular Herb and it makes a very nice and healing tea.The Cypriot name for it is "SPADJIA",i dont know if anyone can help us with the Greek name of it...What is your opinion,do we have something here?

A follow up of this little shrub, after a year......It developed quite well, gave it a heavy pruning twice this year already, but today i decided to do something more drastic.....[img][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img]This the front i thought i would keep, but the right straight branch was a drawbag...the next picture shows another movement of the trunk which i liked more....[img][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img]So...there goes that branch and this is what we are left with....[img][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img][img][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img]

Thx for your comments guys...Neil you are right,i havent seen one either but the features of this small shrub are super and i think we will get something interesting out of this in the end....Yes,its leaves smell very nice and as Stavros said they make a very good tea, which in the old days it was very popular as a medicine....What i am not sure of about this species is whether it lives for many years.....time will show... thumbs up thumbs up
