A shohin size olive

Post  Greg on Tue Jan 29, 2013 7:19 pm

This a small olive tree collected some time ago .This tree has a nice movement , but a completely straight upper part - trunk

After a lot of thinking and a sketch I did , took the decision to proceed with a severe bending to the straight part..
I hope it will survive! Cool

I did four vertical deep cuts, approx. 6cm long , front, back ,left and right. then the plastic tape fixed in place, wired and bended in position.
Not sure if it was the right technique .So far, leaves at top start drying out Evil or Very Mad
