Display table

Post  Greg on Tue May 28, 2013 6:03 pm

From Concept to reality.
Since is impossible to get a display table in Cyprus I decided to design my own.
The drawing is ready and with the help of a local joinery workshop I will try to bring concept to reality.
I will post more photos during process and of the final product.

To be honest with you Savvas, lacquer will be appled instead of varnish. Lacquer is more durable and will be applied by sprying. Sanding and wood paste needs to be done beforehand lacquer. This is a job to be done by a professional. So there there is no other option than someone else will do the job for me. Smile

That's excellent thumbs up .
You don't need to import them when you have quality craftsman on your doorstep Wink .

many Thanks Neil.
You can find quality craftmen but you still need to prepare a drawing and guide them.

Sorry Greg Embarassed.
I wasn't implying it could  be done without your fantastic drawings/plans.Just that it was possible to have them made by quality craftsman in Cyprus instead of buying/importing them.

Hi Neil,
oops! The apologies must come from my side. My bad wording gave you the wrong impression. Your absolutely right, with out the right graftmen I cant do nothing. I just did a drawing and nothing else. The whole process of supervision was a pleasure for me.
Actually I was very delighted about your comments and this give me the strenght to do a couble of more tables. Very Happy
Sorry mate!

below are a few photos with the final product after the application of laquer. enjoy them!
