Vougenvilia No1

Bought May 2010 from a local nursery. An Urban yamadory I suppose. Was forgotten attached by the nursery people at the back of the nursery probably for a few years.

The 12-13 months progress can be seen on the following photos

restyling my bougainvillea

I did some major carving including cut back of the old stubs to reveal the trunk line. A Shari created as well in order to enhance the trunk movement ( advised by Graham during April workshop) and finally some pruning and bending took place .

any comments , advises? What do you think of the pot I intent to use?

i like what you have done and i also think that the pot will enhance the colourful bracts.

You did a good job there..but to be honest i have an issue with the think branches we leave behind....in this case i would like it even more if you cut that thick branch on the right and thus you have a balance of new branches....

Thanks for your comments!
I hope that in a few years the old and new branches will become one and eventually to have the desirible balance.
